Brainstorming for a new painting... it's not going anywhere

Currently brainstorming for a new oil painting... So far, I have half a dozen ideas and thumbnail drawings, but no complete thought to work off of. My poor brain is turning to mush over this.

And I feel like I'm on the edge of a good idea too. Today will be a day of doodling and hopefully by the end I'll have a stable notion of what I'm going to do.

Wow, that's optimistic.

Remind myself to do a digital drawing mock up before I break out the paints. That should help, but I always forget that step...
